About

Me

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a writer. It started with writing stories on card stock and stapling the pages together.

That turned into typing out scripts and short stories on my parent’s old typewriter.

Eventually, I got my first computer and discovered there was so much more - design, typesetting, and editing soon became my passion too.

After I graduated high school, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. I knew I loved writing and had always done well in my English classes. But I was hesitant to turn something I loved into a career.

So I took a year to think about what I wanted to do. While I still wasn’t completely sure, I decided I would give writing a shot and applied to the University Of Toronto.

I studied Professional Writing and Communication from 2011-2016 and learned so much. While in University, I published a book, began my freelancing career and worked as an editor, writer, and designer on the side.

After I graduated, I immediately began working as a Marketing Manager specializing in editing and writing. I worked for the same company for six years until I decided to give freelancing full time a shot.
